I had a great time speaking to the FCA yesterday at Liberty High School. There were about 80 student athletes there yesterday and they listened to every word that I and Pastor Chris Dowd had to say. A Great group of kids all with a promising future, and I know wanting to serve God. We taught them on running the race for God and not giving up, sharing their Faith, being a positive role model, being respectful and giving back to the community.
Also through this I met Chris Dowd and Jeremy ?? I am drawing a blank on his last name. Anyway they and another Pastor Jonge Tate are starting a new church called Bedrock Community Church and they are meeting at the Middle School right now but a young great group of guys.
We went to Chris’ house last night for a Bible Study on Marriage and we had a Blast. Well have to go now God Bless.
My praise report is for J.W. I am so glad that he accepted Jesus into his heart and got baptised. He had been going downhill for awhile and Im really glad I invited him to the Zone or this might never have happened. Ive seen a real change in him lately and it awesome!!!!!!

The Zone is the awesomest!!!! There are alot of great teens and tons of fun things to do. I never really play the games much but I have fun talking with my friends and just hanging out. I love being a part of the Drama team. Its really fun.
The trips we take with the Zone are pretty cool too, like Winterjam and The Easter Play, as long as we dont stop at Wendy’s for lunch, lol.
But most importantly,the worship team always does a great job, I can just tell that they really love God and love to woship Him and the Youth Leaders always have a great message to teach for the teens.
Oh and if you ever have a problem or just want to talk the Youth Leaders are there with open arms. I always find a great listener in Nichole Ashman.
But there are many people you can talk to.
Our senir leaders:Jeff Spencer,Gidget Spencer, Chris Ashman, Nichole Ashman, Hannah Manley, Ben Manley, Chrissa Manley, and Vonne Beaty.
And our junior leaders: Me(Megan Parker), Britney and Tabitha Taylor, and Jordan Cooter.
Were always here to talk.
Megan I really appreciate you very much and as outspoken as you are on thi web site. This is why I do this and am inspired to know that there are many more like you coming.

Maybe one day you will find God drawing you somewhere to do missions work. You know I view the Zone and Bedford City as my missions field, because just like in China there are a lot of people especially teens here that need to know Jesus as well. Every body at the Zone can reach this city for Jesus Christ and show His love here. Tell Your friends about the Zone and the fun you are having. I just want to say thank you. I have been very anti-church for about 18 yrs now, and only went to Life Church on 4/27 because of my golden-girl Kiersten.
Once all you teens and young adults started your skits & drama, there was so much that slammed right into my heart. So much I’ve gone through myself. Many of you saw me walk out crying at one point–thank you Gidget for coming out with me!
I trruly didn’t plan on coming back again. I discovered tho’, God has a different plan for me on that one. I will be back, time and again.
Thank you so much to all that were there for me Sunday & all that have been there for Kiersten since she started going. I want to express so much more, but this is the best I can do right now.
You were all incredibly intense & YOU ARE THE CHILDREN OF OUR FUTURE. YOU ARE SPECIAL. YOU WILL HELP TO IMPROVE OUR WORLD. And I hope to be there to see you all succeed!!

I love everybody at the Zone so much.When I first came to Virginia, I didnt WANT to make any friends. I wasn’t in touch with God, and I had a pretty low self esteem.
When Nicole Ashman brought me to the Zone, my whole world turned around. My eyes were opened (and so was my heart) to God, and getting friends. The people there made me feel so welcome, and accepeted me right away. I’m really into the bible and God. I love praise and worship. They rock!
