		<description>The Father’s Will
Matthew 7:21-23

1.	What is the Father’s will?

The Father’s will is for us to be reunited with Him

Webster’s Dictionary defines Will in this way: verb: used to express desire. choice, willingness, consent.

A.	God wants us to realize we are Sinners.
Romans 7:18-20, Romans6:23

B.	God wants us to realize our need for a Savior and why Jesus is that Savior.
Romans 8:1-4 John 3:16 Acts 4:12 John 14:6

C.	When we realize this God wants us to accept Jesus as our Savior
Romans 10:9-13

2.	Once we realize this and ACCEPT Jesus, God wants to teach us for His purpose.

Webster’s Dictionary: Will: verb used to express a command, exhortation or injunction.

Webster’s Dictionary: exhort: verb to incite by argument or advice: to urge strongly.

A.	God wants to give advice, so therefore He wants to Guide us or Advise Us in the way in which we should go.

Divine guidance is neither mechanical nor automatic, for God does not treat us as robots but as intelligent beings. When He guides, He does so in such a way as to lead us into a wholesome maturity and a growing likeness to Christ. The whole guidance process is calculated to increase our knowledge of God himself, not only of His will. Every Life is a Plan of God: pg. 11 Oswald Sanders: Discovery House Publishers 1992.

How do we get to the place to receive advice:
     Proverbs 3:5-6 2 Thessalonians 3:5

B.	How do we get God to advise us:

1.	Praying and Asking:
     Psalms 143:10 Psalms 25:4

2.	Be teachable:
Colossians 1:9-10 Psalms 32:8-9

3.	Be loyal:
Psalms 25:9-10 Nahum 1:7

4.	Make God your example and nobody else:
Matthew 23:1-10

5.	Study the Word:
Psalms 119:11 Psalms 119:105 Galatians 1:11-12 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Hebrews 4:12 Ephesians 6:14-18 Romans 1:16

3.	Now that I am Saved and Equipped what do I do with it?

Webster’s Dictionary: Will: noun 1. the part of a summons expressing a royal command. 2. a legal declaration of a persons wishes regarding the disposal of His property or estate after death: a written instrument legally executed by which a person makes disposition of his or her estate to take effect after death.

A.	Jesus tells us what to do with our Salvation and Knowledge or Testimony.
Acts 1:8 Matthew 24:9-14 Matthew 28:18-20

We were created for a Purpose (Ephesians 2:10) and this is your purpose, this is what Jesus Christ paid for on the Cross.
