the Zone Picnic

This Saturday Aug. 9th 2008 the Zone Picnic will be held from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Liberty Lake Park at the Hill Top pavilion, which is all the way at the back on top of the hill. This Picnic is for anybody 13- 18 years old and will be enforced. The bus will be making one pick up run starting at 2:30 pm in Raintree, and then 2:40pm at Powder Horn Apts. and than 2:45 pm at Pine Crest Apts., if you can get a ride from a parent neighbor we encourage you to do so because we do not know how many people are going to be on the bus.

We will be having hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, drinks, football, volley ball, horseshoes and just hanging out. The bus will be leaving at 6:00 pm to take people home, again the bus will only make one trip if you had a ride other than the bus to get to the BBQ if you could have that same ride home we again encourage it. Again the Picninc ends at 6:00pm sharp. After 6:15 pm there will be no leaders at the park due to reservations with the Park. Any questions please call Chris Ashman at 540-425-2021.

Pastor Jeff Going to Belize

Pastor Jeff will be leaving to head to Belize at the end of the week. I would like everybody praying for him so that while he is down there he will be safe and the Word of God will perform miracles. Keep him in prayer.

This Wednesday

Pastor Jeff will be speaking to the Zone this wednesday for our 13-18 ge group. Pastor Jeff always compassionate will be speaking on life issues that will impact your life. the Zone will open at 5:30 pm for 13-18 years olds, come hungry and have fun. 217 W. Depot St. downtown Bedford.

!!!!!!New Group Launch This Wednesday Night!!!!!!

 Chris Ashman will be leading the College age ministry at 6:45pm in the Cafe’ upstairs outside of the Sanctuary. This group is new for college age adults who are now graduated from high school and are embarking on a new chapter in their lives. We will touch on topics that pertain to entering the work force, college life, military life and all of the other aspects of this new chapter. This will be a coffee house setting, where we discuss what the Bible has for us. So if you are out of high school in college or working come on out to enjoy some “Good Coffee”, Doughnuts, open discussion and some good conversation, I hope to see you there at 6:45pm in the Life Cafe’. Dynamic Speaker Tonight!!!!

Tonight 6/25/08 we have for you a guest speaker Lori Lewis. Lorie comes to us from Rainbow Forest Baptist Church, also Lori is the Director of the Bedford Pregnancy Center. Lori is a great speaker and is in tune with the stresses of todays teens. I promise you you will not want to miss her presentation. Tonight will be different with Praise and Worship as Ben is out of town. Also we will be enjoynig some corn dogs, so come on out and welcome with us Lori Lewis to the Zone downtown Bedford 217 W. Tonight Guest Speaker!!

Tonight at the Zone we will have a guest speaker who is going to share with us his walk with Jesus. So tonight come on out and enjoy our guest speaker and I hope you like spaghetti. See you tonight at the Zone Depot St. Bedford, VA. 

Procrastination

Teen Emphasis Sunday

This Sunday 10:00am at Life Church Bedford, Va. we will be having our Teen Emphasis Sunday. The purpose is to allow the teens and their parents to share in what the the Zone’s mission is. The teens run the service and the parents watch and the church congregation also enjoy seeing these teens lives being changed. So come check it out at 10;00 am and hear some awesome music, see some hard hitting drama and dynamic teaching as the teens in Bedford “SPEAK UP”. See you there 217 W.
